Shallow housing, rich bass – K10SE.2

Despite its extraordinarily shallow and compact design, this representative of our K subwoofer series naturally also delivers a bass performance that can easily compete with conventional and larger "conspecifics". Thanks to its special design, this woofer is particularly predestined for hidden and space-saving installation concepts such as in the double loading floor of the vehicle.

Smart down to the very last detail

Extremely flat cabinets require sophisticated design details to prevent unwanted enclosure vibrations. In the case of the K 10SE.2, the magnet system is screwed to the enclosures back panel as additional reinforcement.
The extraordinary stiff, torsion-free sandwich paper cone in connection with the heavy-duty dual voice-coil not only converts the amplifier power easily and without compression effects into loads of sound pressure, but also scores sonically with subtle beats.

Flexible connection

The double voice-coil design offers more flexibility when selecting an appropriate power amp. Whether 1 x 4 Ohms, 2 x 2 Ohms or 1 x 1 Ohm impedance – this low bass specialist makes any configuration easily possible.

Best with “distance”

The enclosure feet of the K 10SE.2 have a double meaning. On the one hand, they are part of the construction as a downfire subwoofer and create a defined distance to the mounting surface floor, which is then cleverly used for reflection. At the same time, thanks to their Velcro inserts, they reliably fix the subwoofer on carpets to prevent slipping, so that additional fastening isn’t necessary in many cases.
