Refund policy

1. Return Eligibility

  • You have 7 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
  • Returns are only accepted for faulty, defective, or incorrectly supplied products.
  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
  • All returned items must be:
    • In brand-new, unused condition
    • With original packaging, undamaged
    • Accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • Any missing accessories, damaged packaging, or signs of use will result in rejection of the return or additional fees.

2. RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Process

  • All returns require an RMA number before shipping the item back. Returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted.
  • To obtain an RMA number, email sales@soundtech.com.au with:
    • Your invoice number
    • The reason for return
    • Photos of the item and packaging
  • Once approved, you’ll receive shipping instructions. Do not send items back without prior approval.

3. Restocking Fee

  • A 20% restocking fee applies to all accepted returns, except for faulty products.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If the item was originally shipped for free, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

4. Exclusions (No Returns or Refunds Accepted)

  • BASSER subwoofer enclosures: No refunds or returns due to misfitting or other reasons except warranty claims. Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase.
  • Clearance Sale items: All sales are final. No returns or refunds.
  • Special order/customized items: Not eligible for return unless defective.

5. Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos of the issue.
  • We will assess the claim and provide repair, replacement, or refund as required under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Warranty Claims

  • Products are covered under manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims must be lodged through the proper channels as outlined in the SOUNDTECH Warranty Policy.
