With DSP PC-Tool 6, the latest iteration of our in-house tuning software is fully supported. Its signal-path-oriented interface enables a clear and intuitive navigation across the entire setup. Precise EQ tools, flexible filter options and time-alignment functions enable focused, vehicle-specific sound tuning, while the integrated RTA supports accurate in-car acoustic analysis and helps refine detailed tuning decisions. Additional features such as Virtual Channel Processing and HELIX sound effects – including Augmented Bass Processing, RealCenter and more – help structure complex configurations clearly and offer creative options for further shaping the sound signature.
In total, the AMPLIFY 206 DSP delivers HELIX-grade sound quality, flexibility and technological depth in an exceptionally compact and efficient all-in-one package.
ACO – Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor platform
Rapid processing power beyond the signal path – the high-performance 32 Bit ACO platform handles all control tasks and ensures ultra-fast data communication with the DSP PC-Tool software, including lightning-fast switching between up to ten sound setups.
But ACO offers even more: integrated features like Augmented Bass Processing, RealCenter, Dynamic Loudness Control (DLC), and Remote Tone Control (RTC), along with the new Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA), provide unmatched tuning versatility and allow analysis and compensation of input signals from factory sound systems that already contain sound settings.
HELIX AMPLIFY – Power. Clarity. Purpose.
With the AMPLIFY series, HELIX redefines the idea of modern amplifier design – by reinterpreting classic concepts through the lens of today’s audio demands. Rather than designing one amplifier to do everything, the focus lies on specialized models, each tailored for a specific type of application. This clear philosophy ensures every variant delivers exactly what’s needed – and nothing you don’t.
The 2-Series marks the entry into the AMPLIFY platform – and forms its technical and tonal core. These compact Class D amplifiers combine powerful performance, a fully bridgeable multi-channel architecture, and excellent efficiency with seamless real-world integration. Brilliant and precise treble, a controlled mid-range as well as tight, powerful bass – the 2-Series brings out every nuance of natural, powerful sound, outperforming the expectations of its class in both sound quality and output. Whether as a DIRECT, X-OVER, or DSP variant: from flexible 6-channel setups for fullrange applications to dedicated mono powerhouses for subwoofers – the 2-Series offers tailored solutions for every configuration.
Sound and power – above the standard
The AMPLIFY 2-Series is more than just a range of application-specific solutions – it's a clear commitment to a very specific mission: to outperform expectations in each of those applications – both in sound quality and power delivery. All amplifiers in the series offer brilliant sound performance, minimal distortion, and an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio – combined with fully bridgeable multi-channel outputs for maximum output and installation flexibility. The result: a lineup that doesn’t define itself by its class, but sets new benchmarks within it – making AMPLIFY the first choice for those seeking application-focused performance without compromise.
Form follows performance
The design of the HELIX AMPLIFY 2-Series blends modern functionality with a refined, technical aesthetic. Its compact dimensions allow for flexible installation, even in tight spaces. A removable top cover conceals all connections and controls, offering additional protection as well as a clean and streamlined appearance that highlights the amplifier’s high-quality character. Matte surfaces, sharp contours, and a minimalist design language create a sleek, exclusive look that integrates seamlessly into any modern vehicle interior.

DSP features
TuneEQ
TuneEQ is an extremely flexible and particularly easy-to-use function for automated frequency response correction. A single measurement per audio channel or channel pair with a suitable measurement microphone (e.g. our AMI Tuning Kit) is sufficient for TuneEQ to independently and precisely adjust the equalizers to the desired reference curve. TuneEQ uses the full function set of the parametric equalizer including center frequency, Q-factor and gain adjustment. And since the highly complex arithmetic operations required for this run in the background, you also save a lot of time when optimizing your sound with TuneEQ.
RealCenter
The “RealCenter” feature is an algorithm, developed by Audiotec Fischer, that emphasizes the music information which is present in both the left and right front channel to create an unique center signal. In contrast to common procedures, in which only the channels are summed up, the intensity of the center signal is also dynamically controlled by the stereophonic informational content of the left and right channel.
Sounds complicated but this effect is astonishing: That means if solely the left or right channel delivers an audio signal, the center channel will not reproduce a signal. In the case of common algorithms, the volume level of the center channel is only reduced by 6 dB (= half volume level). Audiotec Fischer’s “RealCenter” allows a unique, broadened sound staging for both driver and co-driver at the same time! Therefore, the disadvantages of a conventional center channel, such as an intrusive, small sound stage, are things of the past.
Augmented Bass Processing
Audiotec Fischer’s proprietary “Augmented Bass Processing”, consisting of the two revolutionary sound features “Dynamic Bass Enhancement” and “SubXpander”, has been especially developed to dramatically improve the bass reproduction of subwoofers.
The “Dynamic Bass Enhancement” ingeniously combines maximum deep bass and highest sound pressure – regardless of the music style or the tone controls in the head unit. Depending on the input signal, the “Dynamic Bass Enhancement” gains the lower frequency range and varies the cut-off frequency of the subsonic filter. The result is a significantly more powerful and deeper bass response at low and medium volume levels without the risk of overloading the subwoofer neither mechanically nor electrically at high volume levels. It is simply fascinating which bass performance is suddenly possible.
If you want an even lower and “darker” bass reproduction, the “SubXpander” can be additionally activated. Therefore, subharmonic tones are added to the fundamental tones in the frequency range between 50 and 100 Hz.
