BRAX DSP – Upgrade Output Analog ESS
Our engineers faced the monumental task of enhancing the BRAX DSP to fulfill our commitment to uncompromising sound quality. Every detail, even those seemingly insignificant at first glance, must be continually scrutinized and optimized – even at the level of BRAX products. This rigorous process enables us to push the boundaries of sound quality and technical performance further.
The outcome is the new Analog Output Module ESS. It employs first-class components such as the high-performance ESS ES9039Q2M 32 Bit, 2-channel D/A converter with HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology and advanced SABRE HiFi architecture as well as the TI/BurrBrown OPA1612 operational amplifier, ensuring unparalleled dynamics, extremely low distortion, and high-end audio playback for the utmost enjoyment. Additionally, seven configurable digital FIR output filters and the adjustable output voltage allow a precise adaptation to any sound profile. The Analog Output Module ESS is upgradeable in any BRAX DSP and facilitates automatic detection and display of all relevant measurements in the DSP PC-Tool (from V5.05).

- Can be upgraded in any BRAX DSP including automatic detection of the module and display of the relevant measured values in the DSP PC-Tool (min. DSP PC-Tool V5.05 required)
- Switchable output voltage of 2, 4 or 8 Volts
