Born out of the increasingly demanding challenges of modern automobile technology and the HELIX-typical pursuit of intelligent solutions, we made the progressive redesign of proven universal speaker systems our mission. The result: our innovative HELIX COMPOSE platform that, according to the motto "developed inside the vehicle, for the vehicle", combines classic universal speakers with the advantages of vehicle-specific systems. Innovative materials and the latest technologies paired with smart, practical engineering – the best of both worlds in harmony: high efficiency, fantastic sound quality and enormous dynamics that fit in any vehicle. The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between i7 and i3, created for sophisticated music lovers with a sparked ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A lovechild of phenomenal sound and unmatched practicality: Developed with the vision of unique speaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. All speaker impedances are perfectly matched for the combination with our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance at any time. In addition, we implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies that offer unbeatable practical benefits.
High efficiency
HELIX COMPOSE equals smart engineering and accordingly implements highly efficient 3 Ohm technology, that perfectly harmonizes with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers and at the same time allows a clearly perceptible plus in efficiency and maximum sound pressure.
A versatile woofer built for flexible integration options
The Ci5 W200FM-S3 is an advanced 8-inch woofer that pairs deep, controlled bass with a remarkably wide midrange response for its size. This range makes it a true all-rounder: in two-way systems, it can cover both bass and midrange as a midbass driver, while in three-way setups it takes on the role of a dedicated woofer, delivering impressive low-end depth and stunning dynamics. On top of that, it delivers high SPL and outstanding power handling – even at demanding listening levels.
Precision engineering for control, bass extension and wideband midrange reproduction
The performance of the Ci5 W200FM-S3 results from the interplay of several finely tuned components. At its core sits a silicon-coated paper cone: stiff yet lightweight, it delivers high damping and suppresses unwanted resonances. This is the foundation for the wide midrange response that gives the Ci5 W200FM-S3 its flexibility. It's complemented by an aluminum dustcap that reduces partial vibrations around the center of the cone and further optimizes frequency response in the upper midrange. A large, 35 mm voice coil handles high power levels while minimizing thermal compression.Despite its compact outer diameter, the Ci5 W200FM-S3 achieves the same cone area as typical 8-inch drivers. Its specially developed magnet system takes this even further: the exceptionally generous linear excursion delivers high SPL and strong power handling in the bass range, while the driver still reaches well into the upper midrange. The result is performance that speaks for itself – measured and verified using the KLIPPEL® Analyzer System.
High-tech polymer basket
All HELIX COMPOSE i7, i5 and i3 speaker baskets are made of a high-tech polymer composite, which has been additionally reinforced with glass spheres. The result: maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnetic system and maximum resistance to thermal influences. Last but not least, this allows for much more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installations in cramped installation conditions.
FlexMount200 – Universal meets car-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adaptor rings, allowing the installation of COMPOSE FlexMount speakers in an almost infinite number of vehicles. Thus, the universal loudspeaker effortlessly becomes a vehicle-specific loudspeaker, that can be easily installed in the original installation position of the vehicle in an acoustically optimized way with the matching FlexMount adaptor ring.

ProConnect – The new industry standard
Our innovative ProConnect terminal is the new industry standard: A professional, automotive connector that provides a safe connection to our WireKits, but also allows the use of conventional speaker cables or car-specific adaptor cables via flat plugs, giving maximum flexibility in the design of the sound system upgrade. Furthermore, the connection is interlocked, offers reverse polarity protection and is electrically and mechanically highly stressable.
WireKits – Plug & Play at its best
Our WireKits realize the connection of HELIX COMPOSE components to the original wiring harness, or optionally to the crossover, in the most comfortable way. With manufacturing according to the high standards of the automotive industry, these arrestable adaptor cables meet all requirements for the harsh environmental conditions that installers are facing in vehicles every day.
